The recent release of a Russian beheading video featuring a Ukrainian prisoner of war has led to concerns from within the Kremlin over "bad publicity".
The video shared last month sparked widespread outrage over the crime, with many western countries condemning Russia as terrorists "akin to ISIS". Whilst Russia has stated that at no time had they committed any crimes against humanity, they did express deep concern over the poor publicity the alleged video had gained.
"Such allegations are untruthful, filled with hate, and make Mr. Putin feel very bad."
Said Kremlin Press Secretary.
"In fact they bring shame to great nation of Russia and make us all look not very good."
The UN Security Council has denied Russias' pleas to revoke the condemnation and remove the video on the grounds of "bad clout".
"Ja we think maybe that ISIS-style beheadings are not so goot and we cannot allow such a low clout nation to go unchecked..."
Harsh polemics have been thrown back and forth in recent weeks between Putin and the UN, with Putin making a vow to expose all the "fakers" within the "over-saturated cesspool that is the 'United Nincompoops'".
With U.S. President Joe Biden recently declaring President Putin as 'President Poopypants', tensions certainly are rising.
